Finally, a use for this hilarious gif I stumbled upon one fine day!

YOLO, for the uninitiated, is an acronym that stands for You Only Live Once.
Yolo, on the other hand, is a county adjacent to Sacramento: Yolo County!
I have to admit I am tickled by the idea of getting my YOLO on in Yolo County. Preferably with a llama, or even an alpaca.
Some highlights, if you’d like to visit Yolo County:
- The Tower Bridge will take you straight to West Sacramento, which is where Yolo County begins.
- UC Davis, in its entirety, is located in Yolo County. In particular, you may be interested in the Bohart Museum of Entomology, the UC Davis Arboretum, or the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts.
- The Old Sugar Mill is a collection of 15 wineries, all under one roof, in a picturesque former sugar mill located just 15 minutes outside of Sacramento in Clarksburg.
- The Yolo County Fair is held every August (this year from the 14th to the 18th).
And if you’re into more fairs, festivals and other big annual events, be sure to check out this list of Festivals and Big Doings from VisitYolo.com.
YOLO!
