Investigating ice skating

Ice? In Sacramento? In April?!

Yes, it can be found!

While Sacramento boasts a few outdoor ice skating rinks during the winter months, you can skate indoors all year round at Skatetown. (Except for Easter Sunday, when they’ll be closed.)

In addition to open skating hours for adults and kids, you can also try:

  • Hockey and skating lessons,
  • Join a hockey league,
  • Synchronized skating,
  • Broomball, and
  • Curling

General admission is $10 for adults, $9 for kids 10 and under and seniors (55+) and children 3 and under are free. Discounts are available for active duty and retired military.

You can find Skatetown at 1009 Orlando Avenue in Roseville.
