Sacramento has the entire alphabet in its downtown grid, so you’ll be able to orient yourself by figuring out where you are from A to Z. But once you leave the grid, things can get messy.
Q Street, in particular, has a number of stops and starts, dead ends, disconnected pieces, and other quirks.
But if you’re on the long, unbroken stretch of Q, here’s a list of all the things you’ll find there:
- Advanced Tire Services & Auto Repair: 226 Q Street
- CalPERS: 400 Q Street
- Chita’s Taqueria: 2019 Q Street
- Franklin D. Roosevelt Park: 1615 9th Street is the official address, but the park is bordered by 9th, 10th, P and Q streets
- Fremont Community Garden: 14th and Q Street
- Highwater: 1910 Q Street
- Midtown Market & Deli: 2828 Q Street
- Naked Lounge (coffee shop): 1500 Q Street
- Q Street Bar & Grill (Benny’s): 2013 Q Street
- The Sacramento Bee: 2100 Q Street
